Without automatic EHR integration, launch can take as little as a few hours once your questionnaires and note preferences are ready. EHR integration timing depends on your system and the agreed scope.
The structured intake note is made available to the physician for review. Intake recordings are not retained, and patient information is not used for model training. Access, retention and deletion arrangements for notes and transcripts are agreed before patient use. See our Privacy Policy for the distinction between website and clinical data.
Gather the history before the visit. Emily, FaceMed.ai’s video intake agent, sees, hears and talks with patients using physician-defined questions, then prepares structured notes and relevant visual observations for physician review.
Yes, for gathering the clinical history. Patients speak with Emily in a FaceTime-style video conversation instead of completing a history form.
Emily gathers patient history through video before the encounter and prepares intake notes. An ambient scribe primarily documents the clinician’s consultation. FaceMed.ai addresses both collecting the history and documenting it.
You define the information you need for your specialty and the patient’s condition. A typical report includes the history of present illness (HPI), past medical history (PMH), social history, current medications and allergies. Relevant visual and voice biomarkers can also be included. The report follows your preferred format and is ready for physician review.
You can view and review reports in the FaceMed portal, save them as PDFs, or print paper copies. Transfer reviewed notes to your EHR with a one-click browser extension, or have them delivered directly through an EHR integration. You can also start without integration by copying reviewed notes into your chart.
Yes. We tailor the questions and note content to each physician’s preferences, including your existing EHR format. Notes can include relevant visual observations and voice biomarkers where applicable.
Yes. Emily gathers history before every encounter, including new patient visits, follow-ups and returning patient appointments. Physicians tailor questions to the visit. FaceMed does not assume access to earlier records or memory across visits. Any use of prior records is agreed for the practice during deployment.
Organised, physician-reviewed history can help your team assemble the clinical information needed for billing review. It does not guarantee payment or fewer denials: reimbursement depends on medical necessity, accurate coding and payer requirements. See CMS documentation guidance.
Yes. After a live demo, we build a customized intake agent using your questionnaires and note preferences. Your team can test questions defined by your own providers and review the resulting notes in the portal before EHR integration.
